Videography

I have always loved camera’s and filming things since I was little. My first experience with video work was in my 8th grade Digital Media class where I filmed a promotional video with a group of student’s for our school’s business program. I was also able to attend Taylor University’s film camp in the summer of 2024 and create a short-film with students across the world. This opened my eyes to all the film and media major has in store. I was able to enter this short-film from Taylor University into my local county fair and won Best of Class and Best of Show. Our short-film then went on to premier at Springfield, Illinois’ Route 66 Film Festival where I was able to network with professional film people all over Illinois and was able to learn about the mission of the Illinois Film Commission. I then went on to create a comical short-film with a small group of friends from my local Church where we entered it in a video contest at our Church’s youth group. I then attended another year of Taylor University’s film camp in the summer of 2025 and entered our short-film into my local county fair again where I won Best of Class and Best of Show. I was then automatically admitted into the Route 66 Film Festival for a second time where my film was selected to premier again.

Photography

I started becoming serious in my photography towards the end of 2024 when I began experimenting with my Dad’s NikonD3100. I have been learning how to use this camera for the past year and have been able to enter my photography in my local county fair for the past couple years.
